Beyond paradise, nestled in The Bahamas, lies the island of Bimini. The sound of it is exotic, reminiscent of palm trees and ocean vistas. The Hilton at Resorts World Bimini invites guests here to live their most unforgettable Bahamas experience.

A half hour’s seaplane ride from Miami brings you to this beautiful oasis. ABC’s The Bachelor was filmed on location at this premier luxury resort where the rooftop infinity pool offers a stunning 360-degree view of Bimini Bay.

The pristine waters beckon temptingly. Resorts World Bimini offers white sand beaches where guests enjoy glass bottomed kayaks, banana boats, and jet skiing. Other sun and sand activities include lazing in an ocean hammock, paddle boating, or water bikes. Unique to Bimini is a snorkeler’s delight: the shipwreck of the historic S.S. Sapona. This concrete cargo ship was originally commissioned by President Woodrow Wilson to serve as a troop transport to assist in World War I. After that, the ship was used as a floating casino, a storage facility and in the illicit liquor trafficking trade before being sunk by a hurricane in 1956. With depth approaching 20 feet, the site is shallow enough for beginners and children to explore the hull seeking sunken relics.

Bimini offers more experienced divers the thrill of exploring underwater walls, reefs, drift dives, wrecks and the Road to the Atlantis. The reefs around the island offer a tapestry of sea life and flora as divers swim alongside stingrays, manta rays, and some 45 different species of sharks found in the Bahamas. Bimini Undersea is a full-service water sports and diving center that can tailor your diving excursion with their certified PADI Dive Center. Each experience is supervised by Bimini Undersea’s professional dive staff.
